| Notice for Students and Notice for Old Boys: Chapel re-opens! After almost 6 weeks of closure and emergency maintenance works, the Chapel will be re-opened at 5:00p.m. on 26th January, 2008. Morning Mass, Saturday French Mass and Sundary Mass will use the Chapel again. |

4 teachers and 14 students from  Beijing National Day School, our latest Brother School, arrived in the late evening of 23rd January. We are much privilaged to have 12 of our parents to be their host families during their stay up to 1st February. So, time to drill your Putonghua a bit in the campus! |

| Chapel closed until further notice. |

Due to the need for emergency renovation works for the Chapel, all operations will be suspended until further notice. During this period the Hall will be used as the alternative venue. Student organizations who have booked the Hall are asked to contact Ms. Jenni Li asap for alternative arrangements. |
| **Application for Discretionary Places in Form 1 (2008-09)** |

Wah Yan College, Hong Kong is now accepting applications for Form 1 (2008-09) discretionary places. Applicants could download the application forms here or obtain the forms from us by post together with a stamped self-addressed envelope.
Applicants should submit the forms to the school office by hand no later than 28 January, 2008. The application is valid after we receive a recommendation letter written by the Principal of his current primary school . Late applications will not be considered. Please note that each Primary 6 student is only allowed to apply to two schools. In the coming academic year, Wah Yan Hong Kong has 48 discretionary places. Applicants will be short-listed for an interview in March 2008. Please read our 2008-2009 Admission Policy before you submit your application. |
