「靚湯顯愛心」親子義工服務

PTA is organising a community service function named 「靚湯顯愛心」親子義工服務 with 白田邨鄰舍輔導會 on 19 April (Saturday). Please refer to the attached letter for details.

If interested, please fill in the application form in the cover letter and drop it into the PTA collection box on or before 8 April. For your information, the same cover letter will be distributed to your son tomorrow or on Tuesday. For enquiry, please contact Mrs Maria Lung at 2572 2251.

College Cats on Air!

A group of Wah Yan College Cats team members participated in RTHK Radio 2 talk show 思潮作動 on 13 March 2008. They talked about loving of animals and gave comments about cruelty of animals. You may listen the program here.

Ng Kwok Cheung gained the first runner up in the HK Schools Singing Contest

Our F7A boy Ng Kwok Cheung entered HK Schools Singing Contest 2008 final on 15 March 2008 night. He sang "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" in the event and got a first runner up in the competition from over 300 participants. Congratulations!

We need to know exactly why you cannot come back to school!

As a new guideline, College staff will ring up the parents of those who are absent from school for their exact reasons of absence. If you are suffering from flu or other infectious diseases, please let us know more about the details. Also, please always seek for medical consultations if you are not feeling not well and take adequate home rest.

All students with flu or temperature should take home rest for at least two days. If you are in doubt of your health conditions, always seek for medical consultations. Also, always maintain a good personal and environmental hygiene, and make sure that is a lot of fresh air for your classrooms - let the windows and door be opened! Let's keep ourselves healthy together!

Book Report for Easter Vacation

All F.1-3 students are asked to write two book reports, one in Chinese and one in English, during the Easter Vacation. The book reports should be collected by the Class Monitor who should hand in them to the school office on or before 31 March, 2008. The worksheets had been distributed and you might download the form here.

Notice to all students

With immediate effect, all students entering the campus should be registered and declared their health conditions - if you are having flu or fever, please seek for medical consultations and take home rest. This practice will carry on until further notice.


Pedestrian Avenue closed during Easter

Due to a re-surfacing work in the Car Park, the Pedestrian Avenue is closed for all entries - please use the the Vehicular Avenue instead with extra attention.

Outstanding Prefects 2007-2008 have been elected by all the F.4 and F.5 prefects, Head Prefect, Deputy Head Prefect, and group leaders of F.6.

According to our election system, the first 2 prefects of F.4 and first 4 prefects of F.5 with highest vote will be nominated as Outstanding Prefects. The result is:
