Top Honour for Our Top Music Talent
4 May 2009

Angus Lee (4K), one of our senior music scholars, did us proud by winning his richly deserved award at this year's 61st HK Schools Music Festival.

Following his last year's staggering successes in winning the Pikes Peak Composition Award for Young Composer's (USA), and the Wind Concerto Class at the HK Schools Music Festival, he has become the 'winner of the winners' at this year's Music Festival.

Through winning the Parson's Scholarship for Wind and Percussion (Open Group), he became one of the finalists invited to an audition conducted by the Committee of the HK Schools Music Festival, whereby the successful candidate would represent Hong Kong to take part in the Llangollen International Music Festival. Angus has succeeded in the audition and now would represent Hong Kong this coming July. Our hearfelt congratulations to him!
