Fr. Stephen Chow is a Jesuit priest ordained in 1994. He has his secondary education at Wah Yan College, Hong Kong from 1972-79. After finishing his two degrees in the United States, he entered the Society of Jesus (Jesuit) in 1984. Of the 36 years he has in the Society of Jesus, his happiest years are the 11 years as the Ethics teacher and School Chaplain at the two Wah Yan colleges.

Fr. Chow’s first love is not theology, but psychology followed by philosophy rather. Yes, he is an educational psychologist and a ‘developmentalist’ concentrating on adolescence. He earned his Doctor of Education from Harvard University in 2006.

Fr. Chow is currently the Provincial Superior of the Chinese Province, Society of Jesus, and the School Supervisor of the two Wah Yan Colleges. He was the Chairman of the Education Commission from 2007 to 2019. His main portfolio was to enrich the six Jesuit schools in Macau, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, which are mainly lay-managed, with the organic quality of Jesuit education. He has his own reflection on Jesuit education and the educational ecology in Hong Kong. As described, a good portion of his life is involved in education and working with young people is what he likes the most.

YANG Huilin is the Professor of Comparative Literature and Religious Studies, Deputy Chair of the University Academic Council, Renmin University of China. He also serves as the Vice-President of China Religious Society and Chinese Comparative Literature Association, Executive member of International Comparative Literature Association, and member of Académie de la Latinité. His main publications in Chinese include Cultural Spirit of Christianity (1995), Faith vs. Reason (1999), Christian Background and Its Cultural Extension (2001), Theological Hermeneutics (2002), Brief History of Western Literary Criticism (2003), The Guide to Western Literary Criticism (2013), At the Boundary of Literature and Theology (2012), Searching for the Meaning (2013), etc.  The collection of his papers in English include Christianity in China: the Work of Yang Huilin (M.E. Sharpe Ltd. 2004), China, Christianity and Questions of Culture (Baylor University Press, 2014, awarded Christianity Today's 2015 Book Awards in the United States).

Johnny C. Go is the Director of the Science and Art of Learning and Teaching (SALT) Institute at Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines, concurrently serving as the Society of Jesus' Assistant for the Mission and Identity of Jesuit Schools and the Education Secretary for the Jesuit secondary and pre-secondary schools in Asia Pacific. After his term as the President of Xavier School from 2001 to 2013, he completed his doctorates in education in 2016 at the UCL Institute of Education, University of London, and the Singapore National Institute of Education at the Nanyang Technological University. He also teaches education and philosophy at the Ateneo de Manila University and the University of the Philippines. He has published several books in spirituality and education, the latest of which are Learning by Refraction: A Practitioner's Guide to 21st-Century Ignatian Pedagogy (Ateneo de Manila University Press, 2019) and Religious Education from a Critical Realist Perspective: Sensus Fidei and Critical Thinking (Routledge, 2018).
